Hammock House

This modernist house is tucked away on a very secluded cul-de-sac in the middle of one of the few remaining hardwood hammocks in the southern reaches of Miami. “Hammock House” was both named after and inspired by its unique native tropical setting. Hammock House was designed to sit very lightly on its fragile site. Conceptually, it is a bridge spanning between two flanking pavilions allowing the natural beauty of the site to remain intact.
